About

Hi, I’m Antonio.

This blog documents my journey through my computer science capstone project and the work I’m doing as I continue to grow as a developer and designer. It’s a space for weekly reflections, progress updates, problem-solving, and the thinking behind the decisions I make while building real applications.

Right now, much of this blog centers around JAICE (Job Application Insight & Classification Engine), a group capstone project focused on helping job seekers better understand and manage their job search through data, visualization, and intentional design. You’ll see updates on feature development, UI/UX refinement, user testing, and iteration based on feedback—not just what was built, but why it was built that way.

I use this blog as a running journal of the development process. Instead of only highlighting finished results, I document the in-between moments: refining dashboards, fixing usability issues, rethinking designs, and learning from real user behavior. It’s a way to stay reflective, track growth over time, and communicate progress clearly to both academic and professional audiences.

More broadly, my interests sit at the intersection of software development, data visualization, and user experience. I care a lot about building things that are not only functional, but intuitive, readable, and genuinely useful to the people using them. Small details matter to me, and that mindset shows up often in the updates you’ll find here.

This blog will continue to evolve as the project progresses and as I take on new challenges. If you’re interested in how ideas turn into features, how feedback shapes products, or what the development process actually looks like week to week, you’re in the right place.
